Situated in the heart of Indianapolis, the Old National Centre stands as a cherished landmark blending historic grandeur with modern entertainment. Originally erected in 1909 as the Murat Shrine Temple, its Moorish Revival architecture captivates visitors with intricate arches and ornate details. The Garden Table is a local eatery and fresh juicery with two Indianapolis locations. We serve seasonally influenced and locally sourced food and cold pressed juice. We believe in simple dishes, made from natural ingredients, grown and harvested by local farmers.

Indiana Repertory Theatre, frequently abbreviated IRT, is a professional regional theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana that began as a genuine repertory theatre with its casts performing in multiple shows at once. It has subsequently become a regional theatre and a member of the League of Resident Theatres.

The Slippery Noodle Inn was originally founded in 1850 as the Tremont House. It is Indiana's oldest, continually operated bar in the original building. The Noodle is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Originally it was a roadhouse (predecessor to the Holiday Inn) and a bar. It has traditionally been owned by people of German descent and it was one of the first German clubs in Indianapolis. The Noodle has been through several name changes over the years. In the 1860's the name was changed to the Concordia House. 

During Prohibition the Brady & Dillinger gangs used the building in back, originally built as a horse stable for the Inn, for target practice. Several of the slugs remain embedded in the lower east wall. In addition to liquor and beer being distilled in the building, cattle and swine were slaughtered and butchered in the basement. The meat hooks and water lines can still be found in the basement.

The ceiling in the front barroom is made from pressed tin. It was installed circa 1890. The tiger oak bar and back bar are well over a 100 years old and believed to be original. The trough at the edge of the bar was used as the cash register in the olden days. The honor system worked or else the colt 45 did! The Noodle is the oldest commercial building left standing in Indianapolis and the Tremont House sign painted on the north side of the building dates back to the 1850's.

Indiana is one of the few states in the nation that has all three branches of government operating out of the historic state capitol building. In 1825, after nine years of statehood, the capitol city was relocated from Corydon to Indianapolis. Plans for the current statehouse began in 1867 and the building was completed in 1888. It is constructed of Indiana limestone and white oak. The beautiful stained glass rotunda window is original and made from German glass.

Serving as the center of civic life in Indiana since 1888, the Indiana Statehouse is an outstanding architectural beauty and is constructed of Indiana-sourced oak and limestone. Tours are available of this four-story home of the Indiana House of Representatives, Indiana State Senate, Indiana Supreme Court, and Indiana Courts of Appeals.

St. Elmo Steak House has been a landmark in downtown Indianapolis since 1902. It is the oldest Indianapolis steakhouse in its original location, and has earned a national reputation for its excellent steaks, seafood, chops and professional service.

The Indiana War Memorial Plaza Historic District includes the 30,000 square foot IWM Museum complete with military equipment and artifacts, three parks, four fountains, and 25 acres of monuments, statues, and sculptures in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The IWM's properties include the Indiana War Memorial, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the Indiana World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Memorials, the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) Memorial, the Medal of Honor Memorial, the 9/11 Memorial, and the Indiana Gold Star Families Memorial. 

No state has a city with more monuments dedicated to veterans than Indiana's capital, and no city in the country maintains more acreage honoring veterans than Indianapolis.

Monument Circle is an iconic landmark and the focal point of Downtown Indianapolis. At the center of the Circle stands the towering Soldiers and Sailors Monument, a majestic neoclassical monument dedicated to Indiana's veterans of the American Revolution, War of 1812, Mexican-American War, Civil War, and Spanish-American War. The monument rises 284 feet above street level, adorned with intricate sculptures and bas-reliefs that depict scenes from Indiana's military history. The District Theatre began operations in 2017. Prior to its creation, it was the home of Theatre on the Square, or “TOTS”. for 30 years.  TOTS focused on unique and original theatre, producing shows that fearlessly embraced marginalized communities, subject matters, and ideas, sometimes holding a mirror up to society that didn’t always embrace diversity. It also became a touchstone for the LGBTQ community by presenting productions that gave voice to a culture when few other companies would do so.
