Freedom Trail Park's all inclusive playground and portable restroom are accessible from the paved north parking lot, and the paved trail through the play area makes the lower level of the park accessible. Trails throughout the rest of the park are crushed limestone.

The Midland Trace Trail is a paved trail running along the abandoned “Midland” Central Indiana Railway corridor. Stretching nearly 4 miles in Westfield, the trail travels east all the way to Noblesville.
