Bazbeaux Pizza is a beloved local institution renowned for its eclectic and flavorful pies. Living Room Theaters is the first of its kind for Indianapolis, boasting a mix of exclusive new releases and the most talked about independent films that critics and audiences love, in a sophisticated, comfortable environment. Food and drinks, including cocktails, beer and wine, will be available at the cinema. Living Room Theaters also has locations in Portland, Oregon and Boca Raton, Florida.

The customer orders at the counter from the chalkboard menu. The menu is a rotating list of diverse sauces and stews, reflecting the founder’s New Orleans roots. Joe offers up a daily menu of seven to ten dishes, all served on rice with a slice of cajun buttered baguette. For under 10 bucks, you can get a single, steaming hot plate, or a combination of two. We have two prices, not thirty. No waiters, no tablecloths. Simple and easy, just the way we like it.

We were born in Indianapolis, Indiana on 54th and College and have since expanded our family to include 14 other locations around the midwest. But no matter where you find us, we care about our customers and we love our community. It’s our place and we want it to be your place too. Let’s spread the love.

Named after Alexander Ralston, the engineer who after moving to the United States from Scotland, was hired in 1820 to help survey our city. In 1821, Ralston was then commissioned by the Indiana General Assembly to make a city plan for Indianapolis. As originally planned, the city’s 1-square mile footprint included the Governor’s mansion placed centrally on a large circular commons. Demolished in 1857, the original Governor’s mansion was replaced by what we know today as Monument Circle featuring the 284-foot tall limestone and bronze Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument.

Originally erected in 1909 as the Murat Shrine Temple, its Moorish Revival architecture captivates visitors with intricate arches and ornate details. Renamed the Old National Centre, this venue offers a diverse array of performances, including concerts, Broadway shows, comedy acts, and lectures, across multiple unique spaces such as the grand Murat Theatre, the intimate Egyptian Room, and the versatile Grand Hall. Pins is the perfect place for those seeking a memorable time and old-school fun. We have a range of activities, including duckpin bowling, pinball, foosball, ping pong, patio pong, and more. The Garden Table is a local eatery and fresh juicery with two Indianapolis locations. We serve seasonally influenced and locally sourced food and cold pressed juice. We believe in simple dishes, made from natural ingredients, grown and harvested by local farmers.

If you’re in search of a quiet spot to relax while you sip your morning brew, skip out on the newly opened Please & Thank You coffee shop on Mass Ave. It’s nothing personal, that’s just their policy: Hot Coffee, Fresh Cookies, Loud Music, No Decaf. 

Livery brings Latin flair and flavors to Indianapolis dining, in a restored 1890’s building that once stabled horses. We're a two-story, casual gathering place with rooftop seating under the stars. We're a part of the Cunningham Restaurant Group. Livery gives a nod to both the building’s heritage and Mass Ave’s art culture by displaying a decorative mural. Designed by Phanomen and painted by Olson Paint Studios, the fanciful mural graces one entire side of the newly refurbished building.

In 1996, Local 416 opened the Indianapolis Firefighters Museum to celebrate the history of the Fire Service in central Indiana and the fire department’s contribution to the Indianapolis community.  

In 1984, the President of Local 416, Mike Schenk, and his Executive Board were on the search for a location for a new Union Hall.  It was then that they came across Fire Station #2 which had opened in January of 1872  near the corner of College and Massachusetts Ave.  At the time, Fire Station #2 was coincidentally enough, a firetrap filled with flammable remains of a laminating business.  

Indianapolis Firefighters Union then decided to restore Fire Station #2 along with an adjacent livery stable.  With a good amount of community support, the building has been restored and stands as an anchor on the north end of Massachusetts Avenue along with art galleries, small shops, restaurants, and hotels. 

The museum features a 1921 Stutz ladder truck, a 1919 Stutz pumper, a 1941 IFD Shop-built pumper, and a 1949 International Harvester pumper refurbished by members of the former Warren Township Fire Department. Memorabilia, photos, and equipment have been donated by local firefighters.

Today historic station #2 features classical and Italianate details, a restored bell tower, and twin fire poles.  Station #2 also serves as the Indianapolis Professional Firefighters Union Headquarters.

The James Whitcomb Riley Home Museum is a cherished historic landmark that offers visitors a glimpse into the life and legacy of one of America's most beloved poets. Situated in the historic Lockerbie Square neighborhood, the museum is housed within the former residence of James Whitcomb Riley, known as the "Hoosier Poet." Built in the 19th century, the charming Victorian home showcases period furnishings, personal belongings, and memorabilia related to Riley's life and work, providing an immersive experience for visitors interested in Indiana's literary heritage. The museum offers guided tours that illuminate Riley's life, his contributions to literature, and the cultural significance of his poetry, which captured the spirit of the American Midwest. With its beautifully preserved architecture and intimate insights into Riley's world, the James Whitcomb Riley Home Museum serves as both a tribute to the poet's enduring legacy and a celebration of Indiana's rich literary tradition.

Chatham Tap opened its doors on Mass Ave in Indianapolis in September of 2007 with the goal of bringing a pub in the tradition of the English “local” to the Chatham-Arch neighborhood of Indianapolis.

While keeping with the friendly and laid back tradition of a neighborhood pub, we sought to rise above the “pub-grub” level with our menu.  Emphasizing sandwiches and appetizers, our award-winning menu is a unique combination of flavors and styles, with plenty of vegetarian options as well as enough choices for the carnivores out there.  Yes, you will find wings, nachos, and pizza on our menu.  But we hope they are unlike any wings, nachos, or pizza you’ve ever had.

And what would a pub be without beer?  We offer a wide range of draught and bottled beer, from the best local breweries all the way to the best England and Europe have to offer.  Our rotating selection of seasonal and specialty draughts means there will always be something new to try.

FortyFive Degrees in 2008 brought an all-new mix of style and cuisine to a then-sleepy Massachusetts Avenue scene. Since that time, as the avenue has exploded with culinary and entertainment options, this modern and elegant yet friendly and accessible mainstay has evolved with the times. 

Known throughout the city for both amazing sushi and chef-inspired entrees, FortyFive Degrees offers stylish and plentiful seating in both our bar and our main dining area, including an outdoor patio that wraps around the 45-degree angle where Mass Ave and College Avenue intersect. 

Liberty Street is a Mixology Bar, Historic Pub, and Performance Venue (with really good food). Opened in 2014, Liberty Street reestablished one of the oldest tavern locations along the Avenue. The focal point of Liberty Street is the massive mahogany bar. It was built utilizing pieces from an old pharmacy cabinet that had been removed when Hook’s Drugs purchased the pharmacy. Old growth mahogany was obtained for the bar top, the goal was to create a true Pre-Prohibition Era Bar, that looked like it had been in place since the 1890’s.

Liberty Street features one of the widest selections of Craft and High End Distilled Spirits in Indianapolis, a strong rotating selection of Local and Regional Draft Craft Beers, and a growing cellar of unique local and national bottled beers. Our cocktail menu offers a variety of historic cocktails, as well as unique concoctions available nowhere else.

The Corner Stage at Liberty Street provides an intimate performance setting with ideal acoustics for a variety of Jazz, Blues, Folk, and even Rock and Roll ensembles. Performances are generally Thursday thru Saturday starting at 10 PM, Sundays a bit earlier. Watch our calendar and Facebook page for up to date events.

Set in the historic, 19th century Athenaeum Building downtown, The Rathskeller is reminiscent of both a quaint inn tucked in the Bavarian hills and a lively beer hall in Munich. From Jäegerschnitzel to Filet Mignon, the award-winning menu features authentic German cuisine as well as steak, seafood, chicken, pork and vegetarian entrees. The Rathskeller also features an extensive wine list and a beer menu. The Kellerbar is stocked with 12 imported draft beers, and over 50 imported bottled beers. The Biergarten has a full-service walk-up bar and gourmet pub-style food. Wednesday through Saturday, and some Sundays, we host the best live local bands from acoustic rock to blues to Polka!

At the Eagle, house-brined and dredged Fried Chicken and Southern Sides are the stars of the show. With "Best Of" accolades around the country, our chicken brings people together. We source free range, all natural birds, and couple it with classic southern side dishes, sandwiches, and carefully curated cocktails, along with a select list of local craft beers and other American favorites. This is approachable, comfort food done right.

 Bottleworks Hotel dazzles with a mix of history and modern luxury with distinctive art and architecture at every turn. While we’ve adapted the space in a new light, our team has gone to great lengths to make sure the original exterior and terrazzo floors shine like new. The building’s Art-Deco past has become its present.

Most people would say the Peace Water Winery story is pretty crazy. We guess any story that includes 8 kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, a cow, basketball, soccer, a 1966 Volkswagen 21 window "hippie van" and a double chocolate chip frappuccino would be considered crazy by most. However, we do not think the idea that inspired our project is all that crazy:

Indianapolis Premiere Supper Club With A Modern Twist. The Mass. Ave Corridor of Indianapolis—and more specifically, Bottleworks District. The team of Clancy's Hospitality, Executive Chef Ricky Martinez, and locally renowned designers, Phanomen/Design, have created The Fountain Room—a place that not only elevates what has already been done, but evolves the American Supper Club for the modern diner.

Inspiration for The Fountain Room stems from visions of a retro supper-club vibe.  Repetitive geometric patterns and timeless millwork details are paired with texture and color combinations that are meant to give visitors a sense of nostalgia for times past.  Think of a traditional Art Deco dining establishment that also functions as a social club.  High class, yet affordable. Formal, yet relaxed.

Condado is a place to come as you are, soak up the local vibe and feel connected with the community. It’s a one-of-a kind experience that reminds us who we are. What we love. And where we come from. Our build-your-own-taco concept has been operating since 2014, with our first location in Columbus, OH. We've added more since then and are expanding throughout the US.

Union 50 is a chef driven restaurant & bar located in downtown Indianapolis in the Mass Ave neighborhood. Union 50 hosts live music multiple times per week so make sure to check out our music calendar. Our culinary team has created an innovative menu that changes seasonally and features a variety of locally sourced ingredients.

Saint Joseph Brewery and Public House was established in 2015, but the building that houses our restaurant and brewery has quite a history.  In order to meet the demands of the growing population in the northeast section of Indianapolis, the Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis established the parish of St. Joseph in 1873, at that time the fourth Catholic parish in Indianapolis. The last mass at St. Joseph church was said by Archbishop Schulte on June 26, 1949. Today, St. Joesph offers fresh, innovative food items updated seasonally to reflect the desires of our loyal, and ever building customer base.

The District Theatre began operations in 2017. Prior to its creation, it was the home of Theatre on the Square, or “TOTS”. for 30 years.  TOTS focused on unique and original theatre, producing shows that fearlessly embraced marginalized communities, subject matters, and ideas, sometimes holding a mirror up to society that didn’t always embrace diversity. It also became a touchstone for the LGBTQ community by presenting productions that gave voice to a culture when few other companies would do so.
