The 11-acre park site will be the new home of Zionsville's first dog park (opened in 2021). It is currently the northern most trailhead on the Zionsville portions of the Big-4 Rail Trail. The Park also includes a large picnic shelter, a playground, a basketball court, a bocce court, cornhole (bring your own bags) and garden plots for rent. The basketball court is striped for pickleball (bring your own net)

West Zionsville is known for its established neighborhoods, spacious homesites, and easy access to both longtime local favorites and rapidly growing developments on the town’s west side. Situated west of US-421 (Michigan Road), the area stretches toward Boone County farmland while staying well connected to major routes like SR-32 and I-65. Residents are within minutes of the retail and dining hub along Whitestown Parkway and the emerging commercial areas in Whitestown, making daily errands and commutes especially convenient.

Compared to the denser layout of East Zionsville, the west side is characterized by larger lots, mature neighborhoods, and a more open, residential feel. Many communities here were developed before Zionsville’s more recent east-side growth, offering a quieter pace and more room to spread out. That said, new developments continue to take shape, blending traditional designs with modern amenities—making West Zionsville an appealing choice for those who want established surroundings with continued momentum.

Living in West Zionsville also means close proximity to recreation and local highlights. Popular destinations like Mulberry Fields, Golf Club of Indiana, and the Zionsville Rail Trail are just a short drive away, as are schools, grocery stores, and healthcare services. For those looking to be part of a growing area with a solid foundation and room to grow, West Zionsville offers the space, access, and community appeal that continues to draw interest.
