One of the oldest historic urban neighborhoods in the city, Ransom Place in Downtown Indianapolis is known for its significant cultural and architectural heritage. Developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Ransom Place has been home to many prominent figures in Indianapolis's history. The neighborhood features a mix of architectural styles, including Queen Anne, Italianate, and American Foursquare homes, showcasing the craftsmanship and design trends of the era.
